Guns N’ Roses Join Aerosmith’s Two Hollywood Bowl Comeback Shows, With General Ticket Sales Starting Saturday

Guns N' Roses will perform on both nights of Aerosmith's Aerosmith & Friends concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 29 and November 1, joining a large guest lineup as general public ticket sales begin Saturday at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

Guns N’ Roses will join Aerosmith for two concerts at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 29 and November 1, expanding the guest bill for the band’s return to full-length live performance, according to TicketNews. The shows are billed as Aerosmith & Friends, and general public tickets are scheduled to go on sale through Ticketmaster on Saturday, October 10, at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

The announced lineup reaches well beyond the two headlining bands. TicketNews lists the Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Sammy Hagar and Eric Church among the participants, along with Tom Morello, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice in Chains members Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez, and Godsmack singer Sully Erna. Andrew Watt, Marcus King, Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, Train frontman Pat Monahan, Steve Stevens, Adam Wakeman, Audley Freed and Kenny Aronoff are also scheduled to take part, and Aerosmith has said more guests and surprise appearances will be announced. Music director Don Was will oversee concerts built around Aerosmith’s catalog, according to TicketNews, which notes that while Guns N’ Roses are set for both dates, the wider guest lineup will vary by night and final lineups are expected only at or near showtime.

From farewell tour to two nights in Los Angeles

The Hollywood Bowl dates mark a reversal. Aerosmith’s Peace Out farewell tour stopped after three concerts when singer Steven Tyler fractured his larynx during a September 9, 2023, performance in Elmont, New York, according to TicketNews. The band first postponed and then rescheduled the remaining dates before canceling the tour in August 2024 and retiring from touring, saying a full recovery from the vocal injury was not possible. No broader tour has been outlined with the new announcement, which establishes two return performances instead, TicketNews reported.

Music Times, which also reported the Hollywood Bowl confirmation, noted that Aerosmith had first named Slash and Duff McKagan individually before confirming that Guns N’ Roses would perform as a band. Fans have also focused on the drum chair: Joey Kramer retired from the road before the band’s last announced tour but appears in the new promotional photo, and the announcement does not say whether he will perform, according to Music Times. Aerosmith has remained musically active despite the touring halt, teaming with Yungblud in 2025 on new material that marked the group’s first new music in more than a decade, Music Times reported.

Ticket windows

Several sales windows precede the public on-sale. Aero Force One members had an exclusive artist presale on Friday, October 9, from 10 to 11 a.m. Pacific time, according to TicketNews. Music Times reported a Citi cardmember presale running from Thursday, October 8, through Friday, October 9, under the Citi Entertainment program, with additional presales during the week. Music Times advised buyers to use the official Aerosmith & Friends ticket page linked from the band’s announcement and to confirm the full lineup, presale details and time-zone listings before purchasing.
