Savannah Bananas Announce 2027 Tour With First Games Outside the United States
The Savannah Bananas revealed their 2027 tour during Thursday night's City Selection Show: up to 75 cities, new stadiums including Dodger Stadium and Nashville's Nissan Stadium, a new 'Banana Ball 360' format, and a ticket lottery that closes Oct. 31.
The Savannah Bananas revealed their 2027 tour on Thursday night, announcing a schedule of up to 75 cities during the Banana Ball City Selection Show broadcast from Grayson Stadium in Savannah on ESPN2, the ESPN App and the team’s YouTube channel.
The biggest news of the night: Banana Ball is leaving the United States for the first time. The league will play at Walmart Park in Monterrey, Mexico, on Feb. 5-6 and at Toros Mobil Park in Tijuana on Feb. 12-13 as part of the Mexico Series. The tour will also stop at Rogers Centre in Toronto on Aug. 14-15 and Blue Cross Park in Winnipeg on Aug. 28 as part of the Canada Series.
“Since 2021 we called this a world tour, but we only played in one country,” founder Jesse Cole said during the show. “Until now.”

New stadiums, new formats
The Bananas will play Dodger Stadium for the first time, on April 23-24 against the Firefighters, and will face the Texas Tailgaters at Notre Dame Stadium on June 26 in a game using the new Banana Ball 360 format. Under the format, two fields sit on a football field at once and home plate rotates each inning so more seats face the action.
Other headline stops include Yankee Stadium (May 28-29), Nashville’s new Nissan Stadium, which will host the Banana Bowl on Sept. 25, and the Field of Dreams Stadium in Dyersville, Iowa (Sept. 10-11). All six teams will also travel to the Banana Ball Open at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World from April 15-18, with four teams competing and the champion earning a berth in the Banana Ball Championship. The National Baseball Hall of Fame will host a Hall of Fame Series at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown on May 29-30 and open an exhibit on the league’s six teams.

How to get tickets
After the reveal, the team opened a ticket lottery that gives fans a chance to buy seats at their preferred venues. The lottery closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 31, according to the Savannah Morning News. Grayson Stadium, the Bananas’ home, will host 30 Banana Ball events next year.
The six-team Banana Ball Championship League also includes the Party Animals, the Firefighters, the Texas Tailgaters, the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Indianapolis Clowns.
