Disney+ to Stream Super Bowl 61 and Two Monday Night Football Games
ESPN and Disney+ said Super Bowl 61 will stream on Disney+ alongside ESPN and ABC in English and Spanish, with two Monday Night Football games also headed to the platform this season.
Super Bowl 61 will be available to stream on Disney+ in addition to airing on ESPN and ABC, ESPN and Disney+ announced on Wednesday, according to USA TODAY.
The game will be offered in both English and Spanish on Disney+, ESPN and ABC. The announcement comes more than four months before the game, as ESPN and ABC return to the Super Bowl rotation for the first time in two decades.
International reach and extra Monday night games
Disney+ will carry the Super Bowl in more than 55 international markets, while the linear ESPN option will be available in more than 130 countries and territories, according to USA TODAY.
The companies also said two additional Monday Night Football games will be available on Disney+ this season. The first is the Dallas Cowboys at the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 26 in Week 7. The second matchup has yet to be announced.
Broadcast team for the game
Joe Buck will handle play-by-play and Troy Aikman will serve as color commentator, according to USA TODAY. It will be the first Super Bowl the pair has called together since Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes won his first Super Bowl in early 2020. Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge will be the sideline reporters.
