Alan Dysert, who played Sean Cudahy on “All My Children,” died on Friday at age 75, his wife Michele announced on Facebook. Michele said she was heartbroken and wrote that she was grateful to have shared “the love of a lifetime” with him.

Michele did not confirm a cause of death in her announcement. She said Dysert faced health challenges over the years and “continued to approach life with determination, humor, and gratitude.” She added: “He fought hard for the life he loved, and I was honored to stand beside him through it all.”

Sean Cudahy and a career on stage and screen
