Apple Reports $114.5 Billion in Quarterly Revenue as iPhone Sales Climb 17%
Apple reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $114.5 billion, up 12 percent from a year earlier, as iPhone revenue rose to $57.6 billion and Services reached a record $31.6 billion.
Apple reported fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $114.5 billion on November 2, up 12 percent from a year earlier, for the three months ended September 26, 2026. Diluted earnings per share were $2.10, up 14 percent, and the company said both figures included a favorable impact of $0.05 per share from tariff refunds. Gross margin was 47.9 percent, including about 1 percentage point from tariff refunds.
Chief executive John Ternus called the quarter a September quarter record for total company revenue, iPhone revenue and earnings per share, and said it capped off Apple’s best fiscal year ever, with full-year revenue of $479 billion. Finance chief Kevan Parekh said the company generated $28 billion in operating cash flow during the quarter and returned $28 billion to shareholders. The board declared a cash dividend of $0.27 per share, payable on November 16, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 12.

iPhone and Mac led product sales
iPhone revenue rose 17.5 percent to $57.6 billion, a September-quarter record, and made up 50.3 percent of the quarter’s revenue. Of the $12.0 billion rise in total sales, the iPhone supplied $8.6 billion, though its growth was slower than the 21.7 percent recorded in the June quarter. The iPhone 18 Pro models became available on September 18, inside the quarter, while the iPhone Duo followed on October 23, after the quarter closed.

Mac sales rose 23.7 percent to $10.8 billion, the fastest growth of the five categories Apple reports. Services revenue rose 9.8 percent to $31.6 billion, an all-time high, though growth eased from 12.1 percent in the June quarter. iPad sales fell 10.4 percent to $6.2 billion, and Wearables, Home and Accessories declined 7.9 percent to $8.3 billion.
Margins narrowed as the tariff refund benefit shrank
Gross margin was 47.9 percent of revenue, down from 50.1 percent in the June quarter, and the company put the tariff refund benefit at an estimated 1 percentage point, against an estimated 2 points in the June quarter. On the year, gross margin still widened from 47.2 percent. Spending rose faster than sales: research and development climbed 32.3 percent to $11.7 billion, or 10.2 percent of revenue, against 8.7 percent a year earlier, and operating income grew 9.9 percent to $35.6 billion. Net income rose 11.8 percent to $30.7 billion.

For the full fiscal year, net income rose 18.0 percent to $132.2 billion and diluted earnings per share increased 20.4 percent to $8.98. iPhone sales for the year rose 21.2 percent to $254.1 billion, and Services grew 13.0 percent to $123.3 billion. The release carries no forecast for the December quarter, which will show whether the new lineup, including the iPhone Duo, new home hardware, Touch on Mac and a rebuilt Siri, can lift iPhone growth back toward the June quarter’s pace.
