Renee Paquette came out during a break between matches to introduce the promotion’s newest signing, according to Sportskeeda’s coverage of the event. Dragunov made his way out to a strong reaction from the crowd, taking in the atmosphere before leaving without addressing the audience.

From WWE to AEW

Dragunov left WWE in August after his contract expired, which meant he was not subject to a 90-day non-compete clause. His name was linked with AEW almost immediately. His in-ring debut for the company has not been announced, but fans will be watching for his first appearance in the coming weeks.

Dragunov was not the only headline of the night. Mercedes Mone defeated Thekla to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship, according to Bleacher Report.
