The 1972 Dolphins keep their mark

The result means the 1972 Miami Dolphins will remain the league’s only undefeated champions. The surviving players from that team have celebrated each year once the NFL’s last unbeaten team loses. Hall of Fame running back Larry Csonka posted on X congratulating the Lions on the win and toasting what he called the team’s now 54-year record.
